My Genderation film project was set up to record the experiences and perspectives of gender variance.Our mission is to create engaging short films which accurately represents individual journeys with gender expression and self-identity.While the My Genderation films are made by trans* people about other trans* people, they are for a much wider audience, to allow people to connect and empathise with individual journeys. We create all our films independently and have total control over filming and editing. So far, My Genderation films have been shown in schools, universities, film festivals and is endorsed by the BBC through their ‘Fresh’ documentaries initiative.

Lucas Silveira is best known for being the front-man of Canadian band The Cliks. He’s had 4 major record releases since 2006 and has toured extensively alongside acts such as Cyndi Lauper, The Cult, The New York Dolls, and Debbie Harry as well as having appeared on National Television shows such as Late Late Night with Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel Live, ETalk Canada, Global TV’s The Morning Show and MTV’s TRL. He most recently performed at Cyndi Lauper’s Home For The Holidays 2013 benefit concert alongside acts like Pink, Nelly Furtado, Matt & Kim and many more receiving a mention in the Hollywood Reporter
